What's Been Happening Lately........
Grand Champion Speckle Park Heifer
Nyel went to her very first show in March 2024.
Jeremy and I were gone away to Mexico and we were a little nervous to send her on her own considering it was her first show.
She nailed it! With the help of her brother and sister she was able to come home with a banner.
The cattle showing world is not something Jeremy or I have been raised in at all. Everything is totally new for us. We are so grateful for all the great people we have met in the industry. They have helped us learn and navigate this whole new dimension of cattle.
Nyel has been hitting up the local fairs to get more practice. Though she usually goes against other breeds, she has been holding her own. She is consistently in the top 3 for showmanship, which is huge for her first year. She definitely has the knack for showing cows!

We decided to add some power to our herd from this awesome bull. There is a lot of his progeny out there and they have proven to make great show case animals. We are excited for 2025 calving season.
